Cambridge Democrats Meeting with Jay Gonzalez and Quentin Palfrey — Sept 13

Jay and QuentinWe're honored and excited to announce a change of plans for tomorrow's CDCC meeting…

Our Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Jay Gonzalez and Quentin Palfrey, will join us to share their vision of a Massachusetts that aims high and works for everyone, not just the few!

This meeting will also be our kickoff of the Coordinated Campaign: mobilizing local Democrats for phone banks and canvassing in the areas where we can have the most impact in Massachusetts. This will be a great chance to come together after the primary elections and build momentum as we move into the next phase of Campaign 2018, so bring your Democratic friends!

Our previously scheduled speaker, past Mass Dems Chair and Gov. Deval Patrick campaign manager John Walsh, has graciously agreed to yield to our fabulous nominees. We hope to have John back soon!

CDCC Meeting Tues. June 12 — Ballot Questions and Budgets

As spring shades into summer, we will gather together for our next CDCC meeting on June 12 and turn our eyes to the upcoming election, with a particular focus on ballot initiatives here in Massachusetts!

We are delighted to have speakers joining us from Raise Up Massachusetts to discuss the Fair Share Amendment as well as paid leave and minimum wage initiatives, and from Freedom for All Massachusetts, seeking to protect the state's transgender nondiscrimination law.

We will also make our action concrete by taking up the CDCC budget for the coming year.

Ward 7 folks — note that there will be a Ward 7 meeting at 6:30 before the main meeting.
