Happy New Year! 🎆
I can’t believe it is 2022 already. Time has passed so strangely these past couple of years. I hope you all had a good, healthy and safe holiday.
As you all know 2022 elections are a big one, so to kick us off in the new year we will have Susan Labandibar from Swing Blue Alliance presenting on how to get involved in these crucial races across the country
**Our next meeting date is Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 7pm via zoom**
The zoom room will open at 6:30pm for Wards to meet
(If you have a calendar of the meeting dates, this is a different than than on that document)
Register for Thursday Jan. 13th Meeting |
As much as I would like to see you all in person, we are back to meeting on Zoom and will be for the foreseeable future. I had hoped to say we could gather for a January or February party since we didn’t have a holiday party but that isn’t possible with omicron. Hopefully we can gather together in the spring or early summer for a picnic in the park.
Agenda:
How to get involved in the important swing state elections this year?
Susan Labandibar of Swing Blue Alliance
Swing Blue Alliance is Massachusetts’ largest grassroots organization of its kind, relying on an entirely volunteer workforce to achieve its goals. Our efforts are strategic and thorough, and we research the results to validate the effectiveness of our methods. We’re committed to protecting our democracy, working on competitive local and national elections, and expanding and strengthening the Democratic party at the grassroots level.
In collaboration with our state partners, Swing Blue Alliance volunteers engage in activities like joining phone banks, sending vote-by-mail applications, and educating voters, all to influence Democratic elections and combat voter suppression across the United States.
